This is the first episode of a series of radio podcasts that the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission has initiated to update listeners and the public at large, main on key events and updates leading up to the National Biometric Voter Registration Update and as well as next years National General Elections 2024.
The Solomon Islands Electoral Commission encourages everyone to listen to these series on radio podcasts which will be aired live on SIBC Radio every Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly at 5:30pm
Your attention to listen to these Radio Podcasts is vital as key updates and awareness will be made in each episode leading up to the National BVR Update and NGE 2024.

The applicants listed below are scheduled to undergo a basic computer test. Testing will take place from June 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2023 in Honiara respectively. Those who successfully pass our tests will be requested to attend a BVR training in mid-July with the expectation of being recruited for the exercise commencing in early August. Once the tests are completed, the allocation of provinces to be deployed to will be made known.
Please be mindful that you are to commit and be available to work for the SIEC during the whole period of registration including the training. The timeslots below for identified applicants are scheduled as follows;

Qualification/Experience/Skills & Other Requirements
- Equivalent to completion of High School, Tertiary or IT related certificates is advantageous
- Have past experience in Electoral Data Processing
- Must be Computer literate-- MS Access, Word, Excel, Windows-based application
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Communicate well and work as part of a team.
- Physically and medically fit to work under pressure
- Taken 1st and 2nd covid19 vaccination
